Specialty Yoga Classes
Classes are taught by certified yoga instructor and avid swimmer / waterman, Jessica Ackerman, RYT, on boards suitably designed for yoga practice. This will provide you with a great core workout as you experience balancing on a whole new level. You will be guided through a dynamic yoga flow to strengthen and lengthen all of your major muscle groups while helping you to control your breath, cultivate balance, and deepen alignment with yourself and the natural energy of practicing on the water. Each class is designed to energize your body, increase strength and fitness, and promote relaxation through freedom of being on the water.
The class is conscientiously designed for all levels of fitness and intended to provide the safest SUP + YOGA experience. No yoga or SUP experience is necessary. Modifications will be offered along the way so the class is suitable for every level.
Includes: Equipment and instruction from fitness/water/yoga instructor Jessica Ackerman.
We launch right from Narrow River Kayaks in Narragansett, RI. (Parking on site, convenient)
Class times: Fridays 9:30-10:30am, Sundays 4-5pm
